Description
The Sphere 14 is a large cluster pendant light comprising fourteen chrome-plated polycarbonate spheres suspended on adjustable cables from a 60cm circular canopy, each housing integrated LEDs that deliver a combined 5,502 lumens at 3000K. The spheres vary in size and drop length, creating a cascading configuration that occupies vertical space between 130cm and 500cm depending on how the cables are set during installation.
Designed for double-height entrance halls, hotel atriums, stairwells and dining spaces with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Sphere 14 provides both ambient illumination and sculptural presence. The integrated 78.6W LED system outputs enough light to function as the primary source in rooms up to 25-30m², while the chrome-plated finish reflects and multiplies light within the space. Dimming is controlled via the supplied TRIAC and 0-10V kit or a radio-frequency remote, allowing stepless adjustment without flicker.
Each sphere is constructed from textured polycarbonate with a mirror-chrome plating that refracts the internal LED into multiple points of light. The cables allow each globe to be positioned individually during fitting, so the cluster can be shaped to suit the proportions of the room or to avoid obstructions such as staircases or balconies. The 60cm canopy distributes cable exits across its surface, preventing bunching at the ceiling rose. At 12kg total weight, the fitting requires secure fixing to a joist or reinforced ceiling point.
The chrome finish pairs with both contemporary interiors that use reflective metals and glass, and with classical schemes where polished metal acts as an accent against neutrals. The IP20 rating limits the Sphere 14 to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, conservatories or covered outdoor areas where condensation occurs.

Frequently Asked
Is the Sphere 14 dimmable?
Yes. The integrated LED system is fully dimmable using the supplied TRIAC and 0-10V dimming kit or the included radio-frequency remote control. Dimming is stepless and flicker-free across the full range.
What ceiling height is needed?
The adjustable cables allow drop lengths between 130cm and 500cm. For typical use in an entrance hall or over a stairwell, a ceiling height of 3.5m or above is recommended to prevent the lowest spheres hanging below head height in circulation zones.
Can the spheres be repositioned after installation?
The cable lengths are adjustable during installation, allowing each sphere to be positioned at a specific height to create the desired cascade pattern. Once installed and secured, repositioning requires access to the ceiling canopy to adjust the cable grips.
What is the total light output?
The fourteen integrated LEDs deliver a combined 5,502 lumens at 3000K warm white. This is sufficient to function as the primary light source in rooms up to approximately 25-30m², depending on ceiling height and wall reflectance.
