The Sphere is a 14-light cluster pendant from Schuller, Spain, suspending fourteen polycarbonate globe shades in mixed sizes (10cm, 12cm and 20cm diameter) from a 60cm circular chrome canopy. Each globe has a textured lower hemisphere and a metallic cap in either polished chrome, satin copper or satin gold, creating a cascading arrangement of warm and cool tones across the 180cm drop. The integrated 78.6W 3000K LED system produces 5,502 lumens combined output.

Designed for double-height spaces, stairwells and dining areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Sphere uses adjustable cables to allow each globe to be positioned at different heights within the 130-300cm drop range. The canopy includes gravity toggles that hold the cables in place once adjusted, maintaining the configured arrangement without sagging. A TRIAC/0-10V dimmable driver connects to a supplied RF remote control for wireless dimming without additional wall controls.

The mix of chrome, copper and gold finishes across the fourteen globes means the pendant reads differently depending on viewing angle and ambient light temperature. Under daylight the chrome globes reflect cooler tones while the copper and gold warm the lower portions of the cluster; under evening tungsten or warm LED the copper and gold become more dominant. The textured polycarbonate diffuses the LED source inside each globe, preventing glare from below while allowing the metallic caps to remain reflective. At 11.1kg total weight the pendant requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced rose.

Is the drop height adjustable?

Yes. Each of the fourteen cables can be individually adjusted between 130cm and 300cm during installation. The canopy includes gravity toggles that lock each cable at the chosen length, allowing you to create a custom cascade arrangement to suit your ceiling height and room proportions.

How is the pendant dimmed?

The integrated TRIAC/0-10V driver connects to a supplied RF remote control, allowing wireless dimming without installing a wall dimmer. The remote offers flicker-free dimming across the full range from 100% down to a low ambient setting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The standard 180cm drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In taller spaces the cables can be extended to the full 300cm maximum drop. For lower ceilings the cables can be shortened to the 130cm minimum, reducing the cascade effect but maintaining the mixed-metal globe arrangement.

Can the globe arrangement be reconfigured after installation?

Yes. The gravity toggles can be released to adjust individual cable lengths at any time, allowing you to reposition globes without rewiring. This is useful if you want to change the visual density of the cluster or adjust the drop to suit a different room layout.
