Description

A set of four glasses, each 16cm tall and 7cm across, with a straight-sided bowl running up to a rolled rim, set on a short faceted stem above a broad flat foot. The bowl is a cylinder rather than a taper, so the width at the rim is the width at the bottom. The glass is clear and carries fine bubbles through the wall.

Each one holds 380ml to the brim, which is a long drink rather than a small one: water through a meal, a beer, a lemonade or a full glass of wine. At 16cm tall they stand above the plates on a laid table, and the wide foot keeps them steady on a surface that is not quite level.

The glass is recycled, so the bubbles and the small waves in the wall differ from one glass to the next. The stem and the foot are the same as those on the Sooraj champagne coupe, which is the other glass in the range. Four glasses come in a set.
