Description

A set of four champagne coupes in clear recycled glass, each 13cm tall and 10cm across. The bowl is shallow and opens straight out to a rolled rim, and it stands on a short barrel-shaped knop above a wide flat foot. Fine bubbles are caught through the glass and show most once a drink is in it.

Each glass holds 200ml filled to the brim, so a normal pour sits well down a bowl this wide. At 13cm they are low enough on a laid table to see across, and the broad foot keeps them steady on a tray. The shallow bowl takes a short cocktail as readily as fizz.

The glass is recycled, so the bubbles run differently through every bowl and no two of the four match exactly. Where the glass thickens at the rim and the foot it carries a faint green cast, which shows against a white surface and reads as clear against a dark one. Four glasses come in a set.
