Description
The Sonoma is a 125cm console table built from 12mm curved tempered glass side panels with a white marble-effect MDF shelf suspended between them. The glass frame is transparent, creating a near-floating visual effect when placed against a wall, while the shelf provides a horizontal accent and functional storage surface for hallway essentials, decorative objects or books.
Designed for entrance halls, living room alcoves and behind-sofa placement, the Sonoma works in contemporary and minimalist interiors where visual lightness matters. The 40cm depth gives enough surface area for table lamps, console styling or a row of family photos without projecting far into the room. The curved glass sides are load-bearing — the shelf sits on the glass, not on a separate frame — so the table has no visible metal fixings or brackets once assembled.
The white marble-effect finish on the shelf is a printed laminate over MDF, giving the look of natural stone without the weight or cost. The total weight of 37.4kg comes primarily from the tempered glass, which is thick enough to handle everyday use but requires two people to move safely. The glass edges are polished smooth and the shelf corners are rounded to prevent chipping during assembly.

Assembly Instruction
Frequently Asked
Is the glass tempered and safe if broken?
Yes. The glass is 12mm tempered glass, which is heat-treated to increase strength. If broken, tempered glass shatters into small rounded fragments rather than sharp shards, reducing injury risk compared to standard glass.
Does the table require assembly?
Yes. The glass side panels and MDF shelf are shipped separately and require assembly on site. Two people are recommended due to the weight of the glass. Full assembly instructions are available in the Downloads section.
How much weight can the shelf hold?
The shelf is designed for decorative objects, books, table lamps and typical hallway items. Avoid placing heavy stone sculptures or aquariums on the shelf — distributed loads of up to 10-15kg are safe for typical use.
How is the glass cleaned?
Use a standard glass cleaner or a microfibre cloth with distilled water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the polished edges. The marble-effect shelf can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried immediately to prevent water marks.
