Description

A spoon and a fork, 29.7cm long, each with a broad head in stainless steel under a gold finish and a plain turned handle in acacia. The heads are hammered, so the gold catches unevenly across the face rather than reflecting flat, and the fork head is cut into three wide tines. A slim gold collar joins each head to its handle.

At 29.7cm long they reach into a deep bowl without a hand following them in, and they measure 6.7cm across at the widest point. The handles are round and unshaped, so they lie flat in a drawer rather than stacking. They are dishwasher safe and food safe.

The heads are stainless steel and the gold is a finish over the steel rather than a solid metal. The handles are carved from acacia, a warm toned wood that carries its own figure, so no two handles are marked alike. The pair weighs 0.215kg together and is sold as two pieces.
