Description

The Solari is a dual-function wall light combining a rectangular white fabric shade with an integrated LED reading arm. The main light uses an E27 bulb (sold separately) housed behind a satin glass diffuser that spreads ambient light across the wall and into the room. A separate flexible white reading arm extends from the right side of the fitting, terminating in a 3000K LED spotlight with its own independent switch.

Designed for bedside use, the Solari suits bedrooms with wall-mounted lighting instead of table lamps, or hotel rooms where both ambient and task light are needed from a single point. The white fabric shade measures 320mm wide by 225mm projection, sitting flush against the wall on a metal backplate. The reading arm can be angled towards a pillow or reading position without affecting the main light, allowing one person to read while another sleeps.

The white fabric shade and white metal arm create a neutral fitting that pairs with most bedroom colour schemes without competing for visual attention. The satin glass diffuser inside the shade softens the E27 bulb output and prevents direct glare when lying in bed. The reading arm is fixed on the right side of the shade as manufactured. If you need the arm on the left for a specific bedside position, consider ordering two units and mounting them as a mirrored pair on either side of a bed.

Are the two lights controlled separately?

Yes. The reading arm has its own independent switch on the arm itself. The main E27 light is controlled by the room switch or wall switch that powers the fitting. This allows the reading light to be used alone without turning on the ambient light.
