Description

The Soho 10 is a compact track spotlight: a slim cylinder on a short stem, with an integrated LED that needs no bulb. It draws 18W and gives 1436 lumens of 3000K warm white light, with a CRI of 90 so colours and food look true, through a 30° beam that picks out a worktop, a picture or a shelf. It measures 5.3cm across and 9.6cm tall, 21cm overall, and comes in white or black, each in a non-dimmable or a DALI dimmable version.

It runs on mains power through its track at 48V DC, and needs two parts sold separately: the Soho 10 48V track it fits, which holds the spotlight and carries its power, and a Soho 10 48V power supply for the track, which feeds that track at 48V DC. It does not work without both. We think it suits a kitchen best, where a few spots along one track can light the worktops and the table, and it is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The spotlight is a Class III fitting, made to run only on the 48V DC its track supplies. Its head is a plain cylinder on a short stem, set at an angle to throw light where you want it, in white or black with a dark interior to the opening. Choose the non-dimmable version for simple on and off, or the DALI dimmable version to dim it from a DALI control system. The track and its power supply are for a qualified electrician to install, so plan the track run before you choose how many spotlights to order. The track in our photographs is not included. Our photographs show the black version.

No. It has an integrated LED drawing 18W and giving 1436 lumens of 3000K light, so there is no bulb to buy or change.

What else do I need to buy with it?

You need the Soho 10 48V track it fits and a Soho 10 48V power supply for the track, both sold separately. It does not work without them.

Can I dim the Soho 10 spotlight?

Choose the DALI dimmable version and it dims from a DALI control system. The non-dimmable version simply switches on and off.

Can it go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and we would not fit it anywhere damp.
