Description

We stock the Skim in black as a compact head for low-voltage track lighting. It has a cylindrical black aluminium body and an integrated 3W LED that gives 90 lumens of warm white (3000K) light in a wide 110 degree spread. It runs on 24V DC track rather than mains, so you will need a compatible track rail and driver to power it.

We like the Skim for gentle accent lighting along a track run in both homes and commercial spaces, from retail displays and gallery walls to kitchen worktops and home office zones. The wide 110 degree beam spreads light across a broad area rather than pooling on one spot, so it suits washing a wall or lifting a larger display rather than picking out a single object. A 90 CRI rating keeps colours looking natural under the light.

The body is aluminium in black, giving a low-profile head that recedes against dark track so the lit surface stays the focus. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, and it is not dimmable, running at a fixed 3W once powered. The head fits 24V DC track systems; the track rail and driver are sold separately.
