The SIS Spotlight 24° is a compact cylinder LED track spotlight from our SIS System range. The head is just 4.5cm across and 3.1cm tall, and it sits on a 4cm mount, so it reads as a small, neat shape against the line of its track. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It draws 6.3W and gives 627 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, fabric and pictures looking true to their colour. We offer it in black, white, brass or grey, so you can match it to the rest of the room.

A track spotlight like this suits a kitchen, lighting a table, an island or a run of open shelves, and it works just as well for picking out pictures along a wall or lighting a dining area. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only; in a kitchen, keep it clear of the sink and the hob. It needs the SIS System track it fits, sold separately: the track holds the spotlight in place and carries its power, and the spotlight will not work without it. It runs on mains power, through its track.

The design is by María Güell & Carrasquet: a plain cylinder on a short mount, with nothing added that the light does not need. It is a Class II fitting. It is not dimmable, so it gives its full 627 lumens whenever the track is switched on; if you want softer light in the same room for the evening, plan a dimmable lamp alongside it. Before you order, measure where the track will run and decide how many spotlights you want along its length, then choose the finish for each one. The track in our photographs is not included.
