Description

The Knightsbridge single GU10 spotlight is a wall or ceiling-mounted directional light fitting in white-painted steel with an adjustable head. The spotlight accepts standard GU10 bulbs (sold separately) up to 50W, compatible with both halogen and LED retrofit lamps. The head tilts 90 degrees and rotates 300 degrees on its base, allowing light to be directed onto wall art, architectural features, worktops or shelving.

Designed for domestic and commercial applications including kitchens, home offices, galleries, retail displays and hospitality interiors, the fitting mounts flush to the ceiling or wall via a 32mm-diameter circular base plate. The 110mm projection from the mounting surface keeps the lamp clear of ceiling height restrictions in most installations. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations but not bathrooms or outdoor use.

The white powder-coated steel finish provides a neutral accent that blends with white ceilings and walls, making the fitting less visible when the light is off. The Class I electrical rating requires connection to an earthed circuit. Dimming capability depends on the GU10 bulb chosen — most LED GU10s are dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer, while halogen GU10s dim on standard dimmers.

Does this come with a bulb?

No. The spotlight takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W, sold separately. Most users pair it with a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for accent lighting.

Can it be mounted on a wall as well as a ceiling?

Yes. The circular base plate fits either ceiling or wall mounting. The 90-degree tilt and 300-degree rotation give enough adjustment range for both orientations.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb you choose. LED GU10s are typically dimmable when paired with an LED-compatible dimmer. Halogen GU10s dim on standard trailing-edge dimmers.

What's the IP rating — can it be used in bathrooms?

The spotlight is rated IP20, which is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms or other areas where it may be exposed to moisture.
