Description

This single-head GU10 spotlight is built from pressed steel with a matt black finish, offering 350° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical tilt on a fixed 100mm ceiling or wall mount. The cylindrical head houses a single GU10 lamp socket (bulb sold separately) rated to 50W maximum, accepting LED, halogen or energy-saving GU10 lamps.

Designed for directional accent lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways and commercial spaces, the spotlight can be ceiling-mounted to highlight artwork, architectural features or zones within a room, or wall-mounted to provide adjustable task lighting above desks, kitchen worktops or reading chairs. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor environments. The Class I earth terminal requires connection to mains earth on installation.

The pressed steel construction and matt black finish give the spotlight a low-profile industrial character that works across modern, minimalist and contemporary interiors. The 54mm head diameter and 125mm total projection from the mounting surface keep the fitting compact when installed on ceilings below 2.4m or on walls in narrow hallways. The adjustable head locks in position once angled, preventing drift over time.

What bulb does this spotlight take?

The fitting accepts a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W maximum. GU10 bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for accent lighting, or cool white (4000K) for task lighting over kitchen worktops.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb you choose. If you fit a dimmable GU10 LED and connect the spotlight to a compatible LED dimmer switch, the light output will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.

Can it be wall-mounted as well as ceiling-mounted?

Yes. The 100mm circular base plate can be fixed to either a ceiling or a wall. On a wall it works well above desks, kitchen worktops, or beside mirrors where directional light is needed without a fixed overhead fitting.

Does the head stay in position once adjusted?

Yes. The head locks in position once tilted and rotated. There is no continuous drift or loosening under normal use, though the head can be manually repositioned at any time.
