Description

The Knightsbridge single GU10 spotlight is a pressed steel directional fitting finished in antique brass, with a cylindrical head that rotates 350° and tilts 90° from the base plate. The fitting accepts a single GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately), allowing task lighting, accent lighting or wash lighting to be directed wherever needed after installation.

Designed for ceiling or wall mounting in residential and commercial settings, the spotlight suits kitchens, corridors, retail displays, office desks and reading corners where directed light is more useful than fixed overhead illumination. The 54mm diameter base plate fits standard UK ceiling roses and back boxes, with the head projecting 125mm from the wall or ceiling when mounted. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

The antique brass finish provides a warm, aged metallic tone with darker patina in recesses, pairing well with traditional, industrial and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The spotlight accepts a single GU10 bulb up to 50W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for task or accent lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. If you use a dimmable LED GU10, the spotlight will respond to a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Halogen GU10s are naturally dimmable with most standard dimmers.

Can it be mounted on a wall?

Yes. The 54mm base plate can be fixed to either ceiling or wall surfaces. When wall-mounted, the head projects 125mm and can be tilted and rotated to direct light up, down or across the room.

What does 350° rotation mean?

The head rotates almost a full circle (350°) around the vertical axis, stopping just short of a complete rotation. Combined with the 90° tilt, this allows the light to be aimed in nearly any direction after the base is fixed in position.
