Description

The Knightsbridge single spotlight is a 32mm diameter ceiling or wall-mounted fitting built around a polished chrome cylindrical body that accepts a single GU10 bulb (sold separately). The spotlight head tilts 90° vertically and rotates 300° horizontally on a smooth pivot, allowing light to be directed at artwork, shelving, worktops or architectural features.

Designed for task lighting, accent lighting and feature illumination in kitchens, home offices, retail spaces and galleries, the spotlight works as a standalone fitting or as part of a multi-unit installation where several spots are distributed along a wall or ceiling run. The 110mm projection from the mounting surface keeps the head clear of walls and ceilings while maintaining a compact profile that does not dominate small rooms.

The steel construction with a polished chrome finish provides durability and corrosion resistance in indoor environments rated IP20. The fitting accepts both LED and halogen GU10 bulbs up to 50W, giving flexibility to choose bulb temperature and brightness to suit the application. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb selected rather than the fitting itself.

What bulb does it take?

The spotlight accepts GU10 bulbs up to 50W, either LED or halogen. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for accent lighting or cool white (4000K) for task lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb fitted rather than the spotlight itself. If you fit a dimmable LED GU10, the spotlight will dim. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim regardless of the dimmer switch.

Can it be fitted on walls as well as ceilings?

Yes. The mounting base is designed for both ceiling and wall installation. On walls it projects 110mm from the surface, allowing the head to rotate and tilt to direct light up, down or sideways along the wall plane.

What IP rating does it carry?

IP20, which means it is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any outdoor use.
