Description

The Knightsbridge single circuit track suspension kit provides ceiling-mounted support for TRK single circuit track systems, using a 3m adjustable stainless steel cable that allows the track to be suspended from 100mm minimum drop up to the full 3m length. Each kit consists of a ceiling fixing point, a 15mm diameter stainless steel cable, a track mounting bracket with screw fixings, and the hardware needed to secure the cable at both ends.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery and residential open-plan installations where track lighting needs to hang from the ceiling rather than surface-mount, the kit supports a maximum load of 25kg per metre of track. The number of suspension kits required depends on the track length being installed: 2 kits for 1m of track, 3 kits for 2m, and 4 kits for 3m. This staged support prevents sagging and maintains even weight distribution across the track run.

The stainless steel cable resists corrosion and provides clean visual lines when the track is suspended in spaces with high ceilings or where the track needs to drop into a specific zone (e.g. over a kitchen island, retail display area, or workspace). The cable is field-adjustable during installation, allowing the track to be leveled even when ceiling joists or concrete soffits are uneven. The 15mm cable diameter and brushed stainless finish integrate with both contemporary and industrial interiors.

Three suspension kits are recommended for a 2m length of track. For 1m use 2 kits, for 2m use 3 kits, for 3m use 4 kits. This staged support prevents sagging and keeps weight distribution even across the track run.

What is the maximum load capacity?

Each suspension kit supports up to 25kg per metre of track when used with the recommended number of kits for the track length being installed. Exceeding this load may cause cable stretch or unsafe deflection.

What is the minimum and maximum drop?

The cable can be adjusted from a 100mm minimum drop up to the full 3m length. This allows the track to be suspended close to the ceiling or dropped significantly into high-ceiling spaces such as galleries or retail environments.

Is the cable compatible with Knightsbridge TRK tracks only?
