Description

The Knightsbridge single adjustable spotlight houses a GU10 bulb fitting in a cylindrical pressed steel head with a brushed chrome finish and matt black trim detail. The head rotates through 350° and tilts through 180°, allowing the light to be directed to specific points on a wall, into a corner, or across a ceiling for task or accent lighting.

Designed for wall and ceiling mounting in domestic and commercial spaces, the spotlight suits hallways, alcoves, kitchen task zones, retail displays, and home offices where directed light is needed without a fixed-position downlight. The 60mm diameter head and 132mm projection from the wall keep the fitting compact and unobtrusive. The circular brushed chrome backplate fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose or wall mounting point and conceals the wiring.

The GU10 socket accepts any standard retrofit GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 50W (sold separately). LED GU10s are recommended for lower running costs and longer bulb life. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen — most dimmable GU10 LEDs pair with trailing-edge dimmers. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only.

Can it be dimmed?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. If you use a dimmable GU10 LED, pair it with a trailing-edge dimmer switch. Non-dimmable GU10 LEDs will not respond to dimmer control.

Yes. The circular backplate can be fixed to a ceiling or wall mounting point. When wall-mounted, the 350° rotation and 180° tilt allow the head to be angled along a corridor, into a corner, or up onto artwork.
