Description

The Simphony is a 150cm linear LED pendant light built around a continuous flowing ribbon of metal finished in gold leaf, suspended from a circular ceiling plate on four steel cables. The ribbon twists through three-dimensional space to form two large loops and one smaller arc, with an opal silicone diffuser running the full length of the metal form. The integrated 37W LED inside the diffuser provides adjustable colour temperature from warm 2700K to cool 5000K via the included remote control.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Simphony acts as both light source and sculptural centrepiece. The 150cm width suits tables and islands between 1.6m and 2.4m long, with the light positioned 65-75cm above the surface. The adjustable drop (65-110cm) allows the fitting to be set at the correct height during installation. The remote control provides stepless dimming and shifts the colour temperature across the full 2700-5000K range without needing to change bulbs.

The gold leaf finish is applied to the metal ribbon in layers, creating a warm reflective surface that catches ambient daylight and lamp light from other sources in the room. The opal silicone diffuser softens the LED output and prevents direct glare when the fitting is viewed from below. At 1.84kg the pendant is light enough to be supported by a standard UK ceiling rose and joist fixing. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments only.

The included remote control provides stepless dimming from 0-100% brightness and allows you to shift the colour temperature between warm 2700K and cool daylight 5000K. This means you can set warm ambient light for evenings and brighter cooler light for daytime tasks without changing bulbs.

The 150cm width suits dining tables or kitchen islands between 1.6m and 2.4m long. The fitting should be positioned 65-75cm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.6m once the drop is adjusted during installation.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension cables allow the drop to be set anywhere between 65cm and 110cm during installation, giving flexibility to match ceiling height and table position.

Is the gold leaf finish durable?

The gold leaf is applied to the metal ribbon and sealed. It will not tarnish or oxidise under normal indoor conditions, but the IP20 rating means the fitting must not be exposed to moisture, steam or outdoor conditions.
