Description

These four round stoneware cups in green each hold 400ml and measure 10.5cm across and 8cm tall. A glaze runs down from the rim in a loose, uneven line, dripping partway over the green body, so every cup in the set carries its own pattern of drips. Fine rings circle the lower half, and a rounded loop handle sits on one side. The body is low and full, the kind of cup that sits comfortably in two hands on a cold morning.

At 400ml this is a generous cup, with room for a large tea, a milky coffee or a hot chocolate, and it works just as well for a cup of soup at lunch. It suits a breakfast table, a desk through a long morning, or the open kitchen shelf where the everyday cups are kept.
