This is a set of six stoneware mugs, each hand decorated, so the brushstrokes differ slightly from one mug to the next and no two are quite alike. The pattern runs in bands: brushed blocks around the rim, a ring of dots beneath them and nested arches rising from the base, all in a multicoloured palette.
