The Knightsbridge 1-gang grid faceplate is an 88mm square screwless cover plate in black nickel finish, designed for use with modular grid switch and socket systems. The faceplate accepts a single grid module (sold separately) and clips onto a separate grid mounting frame, allowing the finished installation to sit flush against the wall with no visible screws.

This faceplate is part of Knightsbridge's modular grid system, where switches, dimmers, sockets and data outlets are built up from individual grid modules rather than fixed multi-gang plates. The 1-gang faceplate accepts one grid module — typically a single rocker switch, a single dimmer, or a single data outlet such as RJ45 or HDMI. The faceplate must be paired with a 1-gang grid mounting frame (GDS001F, sold separately) which fixes to the back box and provides the clip-on mounting points for the cover plate.

The black nickel finish is a dark gunmetal tone with a subtle satin sheen, sitting between polished chrome and matt black in reflectivity. The premium-grade steel construction gives the plate rigidity and a 3.5mm projection from the wall once mounted. The IP20 rating makes this suitable for dry indoor locations including living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, but not for bathrooms or outdoor use.
