Description

We stock the Scala as a two-tier table lamp built around ribbed glass cylinders stacked on a single antique bronze stem and circular base. Each glass tier holds an integrated 12W LED, and together they give 1300 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. The vertical ribbing scatters that light through the glass rather than throwing a focused beam, so the lamp reads as a soft, decorative source rather than a task light.

We see the Scala working best on bedside tables, console tables and occasional surfaces in living rooms and bedrooms, where it adds ambient background light. The two tiers spread the glow both upward and outward, filling a small to medium room with a gentle wash at a wide 120 degree beam angle. Switched off, the ribbed glass still earns its place by catching daylight through the grooves. The antique bronze finish carries a warm, slightly oxidised tone that sits well with traditional, transitional and warmer contemporary rooms.

The LED is integrated and non-dimmable, running on standard 220-240V UK mains at 50Hz through an inline switch on the cable, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. Light quality is rated at 80 CRI, and the lamp is built from metal and glass with an IP20 rating for dry indoor use. Its energy class is F. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or fit. Each of the two glass tiers houses a 12W LED, together giving 1300 lumens of 3000K warm white light straight out of the box.
