Description

The Saxon is a 520mm diameter wrought iron chandelier with three candle-style arms arranged around a central ring frame, finished in matt black. Each arm holds a single E14 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and is separated by decorative beaten metal panels that show hand-forged texture and variation. The chandelier hangs from an 800mm chain, giving a minimum drop of 465mm and maximum drop of 960mm when adjusted on installation.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and entrance areas with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Saxon provides ambient light across a table or floor area up to 3m diameter. The three-light configuration distributes light evenly without shadowing, while the open frame structure allows the bulbs to cast light both downward and laterally. The chandelier fits standard UK ceiling roses and the chain can be shortened during fitting to suit lower ceilings.

The wrought iron frame is built from solid metal bar stock, with each panel hammered to create a textured surface that catches light differently depending on angle and bulb placement. The matt black finish reduces glare and gives the chandelier a forged-metal appearance that sits comfortably in both traditional period interiors and contemporary spaces using dark accent tones. The matt black wrought iron requires minimal maintenance. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid household cleaners or polishes that may strip the matt finish or leave residue in the hammered texture.
