Description

The Saten is a 43cm flush ceiling light built around four concentric tiers of faceted K9 crystal, mounted on a polished chrome circular frame. Four G9 LED bulbs (included) sit behind the crystal layers, creating sparkle and reflection through the cut facets when lit. The 12cm projection from ceiling to base suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where a pendant would hang too far into the space.

Designed for hallways, landing areas, smaller bedrooms and dressing rooms, the Saten provides decorative function in spaces where ceiling clearance limits pendant installation. The flush mounting sits directly against the ceiling rose with no drop or chain, making it suitable for rooms where headroom matters. The polished chrome finish reflects room light during the day and pairs with mirrors, glass and metallic accents common in transitional and contemporary interiors.

K9 crystal is optical-grade glass cut into faceted shapes to refract light, giving more sparkle per surface area than standard glass. Each tier consists of multiple individual crystals threaded onto the chrome frame in overlapping concentric circles. The combined weight of 3.2kg requires secure ceiling fixing — the light includes gravity toggles for installation into plasterboard ceilings where joists are not available directly above the mounting position.

Are the G9 bulbs included?

Yes. The Saten includes four G9 LED bulbs rated at 10W each. These are non-replaceable integrated LEDs designed to last the functional life of the fitting.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 12cm projection makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower, where a pendant would intrude into headroom. It also works in standard-height rooms where a flush profile is preferred.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means it is not protected against moisture and should only be used in dry indoor locations outside bathroom zones.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the fitting to cool. Wipe each crystal tier gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the frame or allowing water to reach the lampholders.
