Description
Twelve small glass stars, each 3cm across and 3cm deep, with six rounded points and a swollen middle where the glass was blown. The gold is mottled rather than even, brighter at the points and clouding through the body, so no two stars carry the same markings. A small ridged metal cap and loop close the top of each one, and a length of dusty pink velvet ribbon is tied through the loop.
At 3cm these are small. Twelve of them will spread across a full tree, hang along a bare branch, or gather in clusters among foliage on a garland or a mantelpiece. Knotted by their ribbons along a length of greenery with lights behind, the mottled gold picks up each point of light separately. The ribbon is long enough to tie straight onto a branch rather than needing a hook.
The stars are recycled glass, blown one at a time, so the points and the body vary from star to star. Each cap is an antique style clasp. They are made in this gold and in a clear, and a set of four larger Sardi stars is made as well, the same shape at a different scale.

Frequently Asked
How many come in a set?
Twelve.
How big is each star?
3cm across.
How do they hang?
Each star has a metal cap and loop at the top with a dusty pink velvet ribbon tied through it, so they knot straight onto a branch.
Will they all look the same?
No. The glass is blown one star at a time and the gold is mottled through it, so the points and the colouring differ from one to the next.
What other colours are there?
This gold and a clear. A set of four larger Sardi stars is also made.
How do I look after them?
Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe away any dust that builds up, and handle them with care. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which may damage the finish. They are for indoor use only.
