Description
The Sanja is a double bed frame built on solid mango wood, with a headboard upholstered in cotton. It stands 120cm to the top of the headboard, and the frame measures 143cm across and 204cm from head to foot. The cotton is a natural ground crossed by a broken black stripe. The frame is rated to hold up to 375kg.
The 143 by 204cm figure is the frame rather than the mattress, so a room needs that much floor before anything else is set beside it, and at 120cm the headboard stands well clear of a mattress and pillows. The frame itself weighs 68.75kg. Double is the smallest of the three Sanja sizes: the king runs to 157.6cm wide and the super king to 187.6cm, both of them 212.2cm long, so a room that cannot give up the extra length is a room for this one.
The frame is solid mango wood, cut for timber only once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, and it is hand carved, upholstered and assembled by skilled makers, with the cotton headboard worked by hand. The Sanja range also holds this bed in king and super king, an armchair, an ottoman, upholstered benches and cotton stripe lampshades. The mattress is not included.

What size is it?
Double. The frame measures 143cm across and 204cm from head to foot, and stands 120cm to the top of the headboard.
What is the headboard covered in?
Cotton, in a natural ground crossed by a broken black stripe.
How much weight does it take?
Up to 375kg.
What other sizes is it made in?
King, at 157.6 by 212.2cm, and super king, at 187.6 by 212.2cm.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the wooden surfaces with a soft dry cloth to lift dust and moisture, always working in the direction of the grain. Mild soap and water can be used sparingly, and never harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Keep it out of strong direct sunlight, which fades the finish.
