What does the Astro Zone 1 setting mean?

Zone 1 covers England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The astro function uses this geographical zone to calculate sunrise and sunset times throughout the year, adjusting switching automatically without manual reprogramming as daylight hours change with the seasons.

How many switching operations can be programmed?

The Q551.14.11 model provides two independent on/off operations per 24-hour cycle. This allows lighting to be switched on at dusk and off at a set night-time hour, then on again before dawn and off at sunrise, or any other two-event daily pattern.

What happens during a power cut?

The 100-hour battery reserve maintains programming and timekeeping during mains power interruptions. The time switch will resume normal operation when power returns without needing to be reprogrammed, provided the outage lasts less than 100 hours.
