Description

This is a wide stoneware serving bowl, 26.5cm across and 9.5cm tall, with a reactive glaze in blue that settles into a soft speckle across the inside and out. At 1600ml it is a serving size rather than a bowl for one: big enough to carry a salad, a pasta dish or a pile of roast potatoes to the middle of the table. The sides slope out from a narrow base to an open rim, and a thin line traces that rim, which gives the round shape a clean finish when you look down into it.

It belongs in the kitchen and at the dining table. Use it for a family salad on a weeknight, a shared bowl of noodles, fruit on the counter or a side dish when friends come round.
