Description

The Sallowfield is a circular frame pendant, 550mm across, built as an open metal ring with a white shade set inside it. Four lamps sit within the frame, so the ring reads as a clean outline while the shade softens what comes through. The white finish keeps the whole fitting light against a pale ceiling and stops a 550mm diameter from feeling heavy overhead. The drop adjusts from 500mm to 1850mm, so it works low over a table or higher as a general ceiling light, and it weighs 4.5kg.

A wide circle like this suits a round dining table, a coffee table in a bay, or the centre of a square living room where the shape echoes the room. In a bedroom we would hang it a little higher, giving even light without a hard edge. It suits anyone after a modern outline that is not aggressively industrial, because the ring gives structure while the white shade keeps everything calm.
