Saldana 5 Light Chandelier - Silver

The Saldana is a 610mm diameter chandelier built around a silver-finished metal frame holding five 3W G9 LED bulbs, each enclosed in a satin-etched opal glass shade, with the entire assembly wrapped in a translucent outer organza drum. The organza diffuses the light outward while the inner opal glass shades direct softer light downward, creating a layered ambient and task lighting effect.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the chandelier provides central illumination across spaces of 15-25m². The adjustable drop of 410-1073mm allows the fitting to be set between 600-800mm above a dining table or positioned higher as ambient room lighting depending on ceiling height. The silver frame is visible through the organza, giving the fitting a defined geometric structure rather than appearing as a pure fabric shade.

The combination of silver metal, white organza and opal glass produces a neutral colour palette that sits comfortably in both contemporary and classical interiors without competing for attention. The organza is a tightly-woven synthetic fabric rather than a loose drape, so it holds its shape without sagging and can be dusted with a soft brush. The five 3W LEDs included with the fitting emit 3000K warm white light and are non-dimmable unless paired with a compatible LED dimmer module.

Are the LED bulbs dimmable?

The included 3W G9 LED bulbs are non-dimmable as standard. Dimming may be possible if the fitting is paired with a compatible LED dimmer module, but this depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop of 410-1073mm means the chandelier can be installed in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.6m upward. For dining tables the fitting typically hangs 600-800mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.6m. Higher ceilings allow the drop to be extended for greater visual impact.

Can the organza shade be washed?

The organza shade is a tightly-woven synthetic fabric that holds its shape but should not be soaked or machine washed. Dust it gently with a soft brush or lint roller. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp microfibre cloth can be used, but avoid saturating the fabric.

What size room does it suit?

The 610mm diameter and five-bulb configuration provide central lighting for rooms of 15-25m². Larger rooms may benefit from supplementary wall lights or floor lamps to fill corner spaces. Smaller rooms under 12m² may find the fitting visually dominant.
