Description

The Saldana is a 457mm diameter chandelier with three G9 downlights set within a double-layered shade system — an outer organza drum and inner satin-etched opal glass diffusers, all supported on a brushed nickel frame. The chandelier ships with three 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K, giving a combined 9W warm white output that diffuses through both fabric and glass layers.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Saldana's adjustable drop ranges from 382mm to 1067mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or lower in taller rooms. The organza outer shade softens the light further while adding a textural layer that catches sidelight during the day. The brushed nickel finish on the arms and canopy provides a neutral metallic anchor that pairs with both warm and cool-toned interiors.

The double-shade construction creates a layered lighting effect: the inner etched opal glass eliminates LED glare and creates a diffuse pool of light, while the outer organza adds a soft peripheral glow and reduces the visual weight of the fitting when viewed from the side. Are bulbs included?

Yes. The Saldana ships with three 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K warm white. These are pre-installed in the fitting and ready to use immediately after installation.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable on installation by shortening the cable and chain within the canopy. Once installed, the height is fixed unless the fitting is taken down and re-adjusted. The adjustment range is 382mm to 1067mm total drop from ceiling to the bottom of the shade.

Is the chandelier dimmable?

The included 3W LED G9 bulbs are compatible with most LED-rated dimmer switches. Test dimmer compatibility before final installation, as performance varies between dimmer models. If the included bulbs are not dimmable with your specific dimmer, they can be replaced with alternative dimmable G9 LEDs.

How is the organza shade cleaned?

The organza outer shade should be dusted gently with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, the shade can be removed from the frame and spot-cleaned with a barely-damp cloth, avoiding soaking the fabric. The inner etched glass can be wiped with glass cleaner when the power is off and the fitting has cooled.
