Description

A pillar candle in a muted sage green, 15cm tall and 8cm across. The wax is poured into a mould and takes its surface from it: pitted and mottled rather than smooth, with the green sitting deeper in some patches than others. That texture is deliberate and it is what the range is named for. A single wick runs through the centre.

At 8cm across this is a wide pillar rather than a dinner candle, and it was made to sit in candle holders built to take a larger candle. It will also stand on its own on a dish or a small tray. Fifteen centimetres carries well enough for a hallway table, a mantelpiece or the middle of a laid table without standing in the line of sight across it.

The wax is a soy and paraffin blend, hand poured into moulds in small batches. Because every candle is poured by hand the texture differs from one to the next, and the sage green runs paler in places. The same pillar is made in a mini and a large as well as this small, and the sage green also runs to a dinner candle.

No. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it within sight and away from anything that will catch, and stand it on a heat resistant surface that will not absorb wax, because it may drip. Do not move it while it is lit or before the wax has hardened.
