Description

This running man legend panel displays a white running figure and left-facing arrow on a green polycarbonate face, designed as a replacement or spare panel for Knightsbridge EMRUN emergency exit sign housings. The 385mm x 185mm panel clips into EMRUN series fittings, allowing the directional arrow to be changed or replaced without replacing the entire emergency light unit.

Used in commercial buildings, offices, hotels, schools and industrial premises where emergency exit route signage must comply with BS 5266 and BS EN 60598-2-22 standards. The left-facing arrow directs building occupants towards the nearest fire exit during evacuation, and the green background meets the international standard for emergency exit route identification.

The polycarbonate construction resists impact and UV degradation better than acrylic or thin plastic films, maintaining clarity under continuous backlighting from LED or fluorescent sources inside the EMRUN housing. The IP20 rating suits internal dry areas — corridors, stairwells, office floors and retail spaces where the sign is protected from direct water ingress.

This legend panel is compatible with the Knightsbridge EMRUN range of emergency exit sign housings. It will not fit other emergency light models or brands — verify your existing fitting is an EMRUN unit before ordering.

Can the arrow direction be changed?

No. This panel shows a fixed left-facing arrow. Knightsbridge produces separate legend panels with right-facing arrows, down arrows, and no-arrow (running man only) options for different exit routes within the same building.

Is this suitable for outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating means the panel is designed for internal dry areas only. It will not withstand direct rain, moisture ingress or outdoor UV exposure without degrading.

Does it come with the backlight unit?

No. This is the legend panel only. It requires an existing EMRUN emergency light housing with LED or fluorescent backlighting to function as a visible exit sign.
