The Rui is an adjustable LED reading table lamp in a copper finish. It has a slim upright stem on a 14cm round base, with a single tubular head that angles out from a joint near the top of the stem. It stands 36.5cm tall, and its tubular shade is 20cm long, with the light set into its end. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit or change. It draws 2.7W and gives 350 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a colour rendering figure of 90 or above, so pages, fabrics and skin tones look true. The 45° beam keeps the light focused where you point it.

As a reading light it sits comfortably on a bedside table, on a desk in a home office or study, or on a side table next to a favourite chair. Because the head is adjustable, you can angle it down onto a book or a keyboard, then move it again when the task changes. Its compact footprint suits a narrow bedside cabinet or a busy desk where space is short. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is not dimmable: it simply switches on and off.

The structure is iron and the base is aluminium, finished in copper. A 2m textile cable gives plenty of reach to a socket. It runs on 220-240V and carries a 5 year guarantee.
