The Rui is a slim LED floor lamp in matt white, made for putting light exactly where you want it. A single thin pole, 142cm tall, rises from a round disc base and carries a slim 20cm tubular shade at the top on a small pivot, so the head can be angled down over a chair or turned upright. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit. It draws just 2.7W and gives 350 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a colour rendering of 90 or more, which keeps book pages, fabrics and skin tones looking true.

With a 45° beam, this is a focused light rather than a room-filler, and it suits the jobs where that matters: reading in the corner of a living room, lighting a desk in a home office, or sitting beside a bedroom armchair. Its narrow profile takes up very little floor, so it fits beside a sofa arm or a bookcase where a wider lamp would crowd the space. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It switches simply on and off and is not dimmable, so if you want lower light in the evening, pair it with a softer lamp elsewhere in the room.
