Description

The Rudi LED pendant light is a long, slim linear pendant: 120cm long in matt white, with a shorter bar riding at its centre, each rounded tube closed with natural wood end caps. It is 8.5cm tall and hangs from a 12cm round ceiling canopy. The light is an integrated LED, so it needs no bulb, and it gives 5400 lumens from 32W in a broad 120° beam. It comes in two colour temperatures, 3000K or 2700K, both with a colour rendering index of 90 or more, so food, wood and fabric keep their true colours.

Its length makes it a natural choice over a dining table or a kitchen island, where one fitting lights the whole run of the surface rather than a single spot. It works just as well over a desk, a meeting table or a reception counter, in homes and offices alike. The 3000K version gives a slightly crisper white for working and reading; the 2700K version is warmer and softer for evening meals. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It runs from an ordinary switch and is not dimmable, so plan a second, softer light if you want a lower glow at night.

The structure is iron, finished in matt white, with caps of natural wood at each end and a textile cable, a mix that warms the clean lines and gives it a quiet Scandinavian look. Its cable is 2m long, and it runs on 220-240V mains; as a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 5 year guarantee.
