Description

Rudi is a linear LED pendant light in matt green: a long, slim iron bar finished in a soft matt green, closed at each end with a natural wood cap. A shorter section sits at its centre, where the textile cable meets it, also capped in wood. The light is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit or change. It draws 32W and gives 5400 lumens through a wide 120° beam, with a colour rendering index of 90 or more, so food, wood and fabrics keep their true colours beneath it. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 3000K or 2700K: the 2700K a touch warmer, the 3000K a little crisper.

Its long, level line is made for lighting along a length: over a dining table, a long desk, a meeting table or a run of workbenches in a studio or office. At 5400 lumens it is bright enough to work by, and the wide beam spreads that light along the surface rather than pooling it in one spot. The matt green and pale wood suit modern and Scandinavian rooms, and the colour sits as happily against white walls as against warm timber. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The structure is iron, the caps are natural wood, and it comes with 2m of textile cable. Dimming is by DALI, so you will need a DALI control system or DALI dimmer to dim it, which makes it a natural fit for homes and offices that already run DALI lighting control. It runs on 220-240V mains and, like any mains fitting, is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 5 year guarantee. For styling, hang it centred along the length of the table, and let the wood caps pick up timber chairs or a wooden tabletop beneath it.
