This cluster chandelier from our Royal range hangs nine alabaster globes, each 10cm across, from a 35cm round ceiling disc on gold textile cables set at different heights, so the spheres fall in loose drops rather than a single line. The base and disc are brass in a gold finish, and the alabaster shades carry soft veining in cream, honey and rose tones that glows warmly once the lights are on. It has nine G9 lamp holders, and G9 LED lamps are recommended, no more than 60mm long so they sit neatly inside each globe.

With cables of 1.5m to 3m, it suits a room with height to fill: over a dining table, in a double-height hallway, or down a stairwell, where the staggered globes carry light from the landing towards the hall below. It sits just as happily over a bed or a reading corner in a modern home that wants something softer and more natural than glass or chrome. Because the drops are staggered, it reads as one generous cluster from across the room rather than nine separate pendants.
