Description

We stock the Rounge in matt black as an outdoor LED wall light for framing a door or lighting a wall. Its aluminium body holds an integrated 16W LED behind an opal diffuser, giving 800 lumens of warm white (3000K) light in a wide 130 degree spread, so the beam washes both up and down the wall rather than throwing a single hard pool.

We fit it outside on porches, garage walls, entrance walls and garden structures, where its IP54 rating protects it against dust and splashing water from any direction. Mounted at door-frame height it marks an entrance clearly, and the opal diffuser softens the LED so the light stays comfortable when you look straight at it. The 800 lumen output at 16W suits a front wall or side passage that wants steady, even light after dark.

The Rounge runs on standard 220-240V mains at 50Hz and is not dimmable, so it wires directly to a switched outdoor spur or junction box rather than a dimmer circuit. Its 3000K colour is a warm white close to old tungsten bulbs, its CRI of 80 keeps brickwork and planting looking natural, and the powder-coated aluminium frame holds up to rain. It carries an Energy Class G rating.

Frequently Asked

Is the Rounge suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. It carries an IP54 rating, which protects it against dust and against water splashing from any direction, so it is made for porches, entrance walls, garage sides and garden structures.

Is this wall light dimmable?

No. The integrated 16W LED is not dimmable, so we would wire it to a switched outdoor spur or junction box rather than a dimmer. It gives a fixed 800 lumens of warm white light every time you switch it on.

What colour is the light?

It is a warm white at 3000K, close to a traditional tungsten bulb, with a CRI of 80 so brick, render and planting keep their natural colour. The wide 130 degree beam washes the wall both up and down.

How is it powered and wired?

The LED is built in, so there is no separate bulb to buy. It runs on standard 220-240V mains at 50Hz and needs direct wiring to a suitable outdoor circuit, which we would leave to a qualified electrician.
