Description

The Roseline is a linear LED wall light: a long, slim cylinder of clear ribbed glass held at each end by a brown strap on a round gold base. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit, and its warm 2700K light is softened by the ribs as it spreads along the wall. We sell it in two sizes, 36cm and 56cm. The 36cm size measures 40cm end to end and projects 11cm from the wall, with a 30cm glass shade 5cm across; it draws 5W and gives 400 lumens. The 56cm size measures 60cm end to end and projects 11cm, with a 50cm glass shade 5cm across; it draws 7W and gives 500 lumens.

Its IP44 rating means it stands up to splashes, so it suits a bathroom or an en-suite as well as dry rooms. Fixed upright between two mirrors over a double basin, it casts light to each side, and a pair either side of a single mirror works as well. It is equally at home in a hallway, on a landing or beside a bed, where the slim 11cm projection keeps it close to the wall. Choose the 56cm size for a tall mirror or a longer stretch of wall, and the 36cm size beside a smaller mirror or in a cloakroom. It is not dimmable and runs from an ordinary on-off switch.

The bases are brass and resin in a gold finish, the straps are brown, and the clear glass shade has fine ribs along its length, a modern take on fluted glass. It runs on 220-240V mains and is for a qualified electrician to install, and it carries a 5 year guarantee. For styling, the gold and brown sit well with dark taps, warm neutral walls and timber, and a single fitting centred between two round mirrors makes a balanced wall.
