Description

The Rose cylinder pendant light is a slim brass tube hung from a textile cable, in a matt polished brass finish. The smooth brass structure takes one GU10 lamp, set inside the cylinder so the light comes from its open lower end. It comes in three sizes, each named for the height of its shade. The 16cm size has a shade 16cm tall and 4cm across. The 25cm size has a shade 25cm tall and 4cm across. The 40cm size has a shade 40cm tall and 4cm across. Each size hangs from a round ceiling canopy 6.5cm across on a 1.5m cable.

We like it anywhere a narrow drop of light is wanted without bulk. A single one works over a side table or beside a bed in place of a table lamp, freeing the surface, and the 40cm size gives a hallway or landing a long, slender line. Hung in a row, the cylinders suit a dining table or a long desk. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only: living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways and studies. It is a switched fitting, turned on and off from a standard light switch rather than dimmed, and it runs on 220-240V mains.

The structure is smooth brass, finished in matt polished brass, and the cable is textile. It carries a 3 year guarantee. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, we like all three sizes hung together at staggered heights over a sideboard, with the 16cm, 25cm and 40cm cylinders side by side, so the group reads as one modern piece.
