Our Rose Cylinder Pendant Light is a slim cylinder in matt black, a smooth brass structure hung on a fine textile cable, with one GU10 lamp holder set at the lower end so the light falls downward. It comes in three sizes, named for the height of the cylinder shade: 16cm, 25cm and 40cm. The 16cm size has a shade 16cm tall and 4cm across, the 25cm size has a shade 25cm tall and 4cm across, and the 40cm size has a shade 40cm tall and 4cm across. On all three sizes the round ceiling canopy is 6.5cm across and the cable is 1.5m long.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a living room, dining room, bedroom, hallway or study. One pendant on its own hangs neatly beside a bed or over a reading chair. The narrow 4cm shade suits places where a wider fitting would crowd the space, such as a small landing or the corner above a desk. Several hung in a line work well over a dining table or a long sideboard, giving each place its own pool of light. The look is modern and quiet, at home with plain walls, pale wood, concrete and stone.

The structure is smooth brass finished in matt black, and the cable is textile. It takes one GU10 lamp and is a plain on-off switched fitting, so there is no dimmer to match. It runs on 220-240V mains and is for a qualified electrician to install, and it carries a 3 year guarantee.
