Description

Our Rory candle holders are a pair of stoneware tigers, each carrying a flower-shaped candle cup on its back. One lies stretched out with its tail curled at its side, while the other stands on all four paws with its head lifted and turned to one side. The lying tiger is 14cm long, 7cm wide and 8.5cm tall, and the standing tiger is 18cm long, 7.5cm wide and 13.5cm tall, so the two give you a natural difference in height when they are grouped together. Both are multicoloured, with painted stripes, small painted faces and petal cups finished in two different glazes.

They sit happily on a coffee table, a side table, a sideboard or a bookshelf, anywhere a pair of candles is wanted with a bit of character. Place them at different levels, one on a short stack of books and one on the tabletop, and the two heights read well from across the living room. Each petal cup takes a slim taper candle, which keeps the look light and leaves the tiger in full view.
