Description

The Roof S130 Casing is a folded cover that fits over the Roof linear pendant and gives the light a new outer face. It comes in White, Black & Brass, White & Natural Oak or Black & Natural Walnut, so you can match the casing to a table, a desk or the joinery already in the room. It is 131cm long, a slim, straight profile whose folded edge wraps the top and one side of the light, leaving the underside open so the light falls down onto the surface beneath it.

Because it hangs as part of a long, low run of light, the casing suits the places where you want a clean line of light over a surface: above a dining table, along a desk in a home office, over a meeting table or across a reading corner in a living room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The finish is where you make your choice. White keeps the line quiet against pale walls and ceilings. White & Natural Oak brings a soft, light timber tone that sits well with Scandinavian furniture and pale floors. Black & Brass adds a darker, crisper edge with a touch of brass colour, and Black & Natural Walnut gives a deep, rich wood tone that pairs with walnut tables and chairs and warm, earthy wall colours.

The Roof design is by David Abad, and the casing keeps to its simple idea: one folded line that reads as a single slim beam when it hangs.
