Description

The Ronda pendant light is a yellow aluminium dome that hangs on a textile cable, its smooth curve broken only by a set of grooved rings just above the open rim. It is 30cm tall and 33cm across, a generous size that holds its own over a table without crowding the room around it. Inside sits one E27 lamp holder, the common large screw cap, and the open base of the dome sends the light down onto the surface beneath, so it works as well for reading the paper at breakfast as for lighting dinner.

Its clean shape and soft yellow colour sit naturally in modern and Scandinavian interiors, bringing a little warmth without shouting. We like it hung over a dining table, above a kitchen island in a pair or a row, at the centre of a bedroom ceiling or in a hallway where a single pendant needs to carry the space. The textile cable is 1.5m long, which leaves room for a lower drop under taller ceilings. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only; keep it to living spaces rather than anywhere it could be splashed.
