Description

The Ronda is a pendant light with a deep green dome shade, rounded over the crown and opening to a wide rim, with ribbed bands circling its lower edge. The fitting is 30cm tall and 33cm across, a generous size that gives a room a clear centre without crowding it. Its structure is aluminium and it hangs on a black textile cable 1.5m long from an 8cm round ceiling canopy. It takes one E27 lamp, the common large screw cap, and the open base sends the light downwards, while the green dome reads as a soft block of colour even when the lamp is off.

Its modern, Scandinavian lines suit a dining room, a living room, a bedroom or a hallway, anywhere one pendant can give the room its focus. Hung over a dining table it pools light on the table top for meals and conversation, and in a bedroom or a reading corner it brings in colour as much as light.
