Description

The Ronda Pendant Light is a single dome of aluminium in a warm coral finish. Near the rim, a set of banded grooves runs all the way round, giving the smooth curve a quiet line of detail. It stands 30cm tall and 33cm across, and hangs on a 1.5m textile cable from a round ceiling canopy 8cm across. Inside, one E27 lamp holder takes a standard screw-cap bulb, so you choose the brightness and the colour of the light. The dome is open underneath, so the light falls down onto whatever sits below it.

We like it hung over a dining table or a desk, where the dome gathers the light onto the surface beneath, and it sits just as happily in a hallway, a living room or a bedroom. Its clean lines suit modern and Scandinavian rooms, and the coral brings warmth to white walls, pale wood and soft grey textiles. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs in dry rooms indoors. Hung on its own it gives a room a clear focal point, while a pair or a row of three over a long table makes a bolder line of colour.

The structure is aluminium and the cable is textile, which looks neater than plain plastic flex. It is a switched fitting, so it simply turns on and off with your light switch rather than dimming.
