Our Romina table lamp is a modern mushroom design: a matt black aluminium dome shade on a slim stem above a cylindrical base of dark marble. It stands 44.5cm tall overall. The shade is 36cm across and 10cm high, and the marble base is 18cm tall and 10cm across, so a broad dome sits over a narrow foot. The stem rises off-centre, so the dome reaches out further on one side and spreads its light down over the surface beneath. It takes one E27 lamp, the common large screw cap, so a wide choice of bulbs will fit.

It is a lamp for dry rooms indoors, as its IP20 rating means: a side table by the sofa, a bedside, a hall console or a desk in a study. The wide dome directs the light downwards across the table top, which suits reading, a quiet evening or a softly lit corner. The 2m textile cable gives you room to set it a little way from the socket, and it runs on a 220-240V supply. It is switched simply on and off, so there is no dimmer to choose.
