Description

The Roma is a pendant light in a Brushed Bronze finish: a tall cylinder of slim vertical bars set around white panels that glow when it is lit. It is 63cm tall and 30cm across, so it has real presence over a table or in a room with a generous ceiling. The light source is an integrated LED, which means there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 39W and gives 2790 lumens at a warm 2700K, with a colour rendering index of 90, so wood, fabric and food look natural beneath it.

We see it working best in a dining room, hung over the table, or in a living room where one pendant needs to carry the space. Its long proportions also suit a hallway or entrance with a high ceiling, and two or three hung at different heights make a strong group. It is dimmable by DALI or push dimming, so it can join a DALI control system or be dimmed from a push switch, taking it from bright light for dinner to a low glow later in the evening. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The bars run the full height of the shade and give the cylinder its fluted outline, and they share the Brushed Bronze finish with the stem, a warm, softly brushed look that sits comfortably with stone, timber and cream upholstery. The canopy is 14cm across and 4.9cm deep, so it sits neatly against the ceiling. This is a Class I fitting that runs on 230V mains, wired in by a qualified electrician, and that is the one installation note we would add. Before you order, measure from the ceiling to the table or floor beneath, so you know the 63cm body will sit at a comfortable height in your room.
