Description

The Roma cone wall light reaches out from the wall on a long, slim arm and hangs a single conical shade from its tip on a cord. This brings the light out into the room rather than keeping it flat against the plaster. A round disc backplate sits against the wall, a fine wire runs from the disc to the end of the arm, and the cone drops from there. It comes in two sizes, 60cm and 120cm. The 60cm size has a disc 35cm across and a shade 21cm across, while the 120cm size has a disc 49cm across and a shade 33cm across. Both are matt black, structure and shade alike.

Because the shade hangs well out from the wall, it is a good answer wherever you want a pendant's pool of light without a ceiling point. It works beside a sofa or reading chair in a living room, over a side table in a hallway, or next to the bed. The 60cm size suits a narrower stretch of wall, and the 120cm size gives the arm room to reach right across a wider one. We think it suits anyone who likes a clean, modern look. It takes one GX53 lamp and is an on-off switched fitting. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The structure is iron and the cone shade is aluminium, with opal glass completing the fitting.
