Description

The Roi is a small flush light with a ribbed opal white glass shade set against a flat black disc. The glass has close ribs running from the rim to the crown of its rounded dome, and the opal glass softens the light of the lamp inside so the shade glows evenly rather than glaring. The shade is 12cm across and 8.5cm tall, the disc behind it is 15cm across, and the base that holds them is 10cm across and 2cm high. It takes one G9 lamp, and the maker recommends a G9 LED, so that is the lamp to choose for it.

It fixes to a ceiling or to a wall, sitting flush against the surface with no stem, so it suits low ceilings, narrow hallways and landings where a pendant would be in the way. On a wall it makes a neat light along a corridor, beside a bed or at the top of a stair; on a ceiling it works in a small bedroom, a study, a box room or a walk-in wardrobe.
